Hello again! I've missed a few days of posting this month so far (I said I would post ALMOST everyday.) I had a very busy weekend. On Saturday I participated in my fourth craft fair this season.
I usually do one craft fair each year, two at most. This year my mom, my sister Monique, and I decided to do craft fairs together. It helped make each event feel a little less intimidating.
We are also trying to build a collaborative business combining all of our talents. Our dream is to own a boutique someday, so we are starting a small business called Vintage, Chic, and Sweet. We are still in the planning stages of our business, but we decided to participate in the craft fairs this year to see how it would go. We mixed all of our different products together - crocheted animals and hats, painted canvases, and upcycled shabby chic items.
After the craft fairs, we have a clearer vision for Vintage, Chic, and Sweet that involves more than just mashing all of our existing businesses together. Those plans will be announced early next year.
