Where my journey begins
Natti’s Place was born when I picked up crocheting as a teenager. I started with scratchy yarn and some crochet hooks my mom had in her craft room. I began to learn new techniques from YouTube and blogs. My work was truly the work of a beginner – my stitches were lose and some of my hats fell apart. But I practiced every day and taught myself how to get better. Friends and family encouraged me to sell my creations online and at craft fairs.
After years of procrastinating, I finally opened my Etsy shop in January 2013. I had no sales until June of that year. In July, I signed the lease for a tiny booth at the American Classics Marketplace, an antique mall in Colorado Springs. In August, my Etsy shop began to pick up some speed.
Four years later, I am married and I have a daughter, Annabella. Natti’s Place was always a side business. It was more of a hobby that earned me some spending money. It was fun. Now, I want Natti’s Place to grow.
I want Natti’s Place to make a difference in this crazy, fast-paced world.
I want to inspire people with the things I make. I want to put a smile on someone's face because they genuinely enjoy something that I designed and made.
Please join me on this journey through life as I raise a wild, big-hearted toddler and turn my hobby business into an actual source of revenue for my family.
To my loyal followers (hi Mom!) your support means more to me that you could ever imagine. Thank you for following me from day one!
